Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro

It was earlier announced that the highly popular manga series ‘Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro’ or Chino ‘s school road will be receiving an anime adaptation. Now we know that the anime will start to premiere from July 2018. Monthly Comic Flapper currently carries the manga. Naoki Kawasaki is the author of the original manga. Takayuki Inagaki is the director and we have Mayuko Matsumoto handling character design. Diomedea is the Studio behind the anime.

Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro – Synopsis

School girls Chiko Tocho and Mitani Shimichi attend school from home on foot. On their way to school, they face unexpected encounters, making going to school an increasingly difficult and an unusual adventure. Consequently, they always end up being late to the morning class. Furthermore, things start to get all the more ridiculous with time. Their feeling of tardiness and the struggle they face every day to attend school is hilarious and always leaves us with the question, can ‘Chio go to school without being late this morning?’

What We Can Expect

Firstly, this anime seems to have a simple yet amazing plot. I mean, who has not gone to school right? And who would not be able to identify themselves with the pain of catching that school bus? The author seems to have made an attempt to sarcastically brings out the troubles school goers face to reach school on time.  This already sounds so hilarious and gets me excited for the anime. Finally,  I would definitely expect this to be an interesting watch as we get to see school girls face of odds to reach school.
