Vegito and Zamasu headed to Dragon Ball FighterZ on May 31st!

Dragon Ball FighterZ characters.

Earlier this month, we covered the upcoming DLC regarding Dragon Ball FighterZ characters Vegito and Zamasu,. While we entailed their release, their character trailers, and even the most recent update, Bandai Namco remained tight-lipped on providing a release date. Despite receiving a balance patch and even a new mode РParty Battle Mode Рonly in the last few days have we finally learned of the biggest part of the DLC.

Dragon Ball FighterZ characters, Vegito and Zamasu

This past weekend, the developer finally revealed their release May 31st. The end of this month marks the advent of the God’s Zero Mortal Plan and the fused warrior who dares to defy him. While Bandai Namco posted that Zamasu’s style is based on being a “long-range shooter,” Vegito seems to contrast greatly. More similarly to Broly and Bardock, as well as most Saiyans, Vegito is much more gung-ho with his melee style. His fancy fast kicks make for solid blockstrings while one of his supers is a massive Beam Sword.¬† The other finisher is a massive Final Kamehameha. The move is a mix between Vegeta’s Final Flash and Goku’s Kamehameha. The move was never featured in the anime or manga – only featured in video games – until Dragon Ball Super.
