New week new round up as always. Welcome to this week’s anime and manga news roundup 09/10/2018 edition. As always, we shall first look at the round up of the news articles on the site this week before we get to the main news list.

We have bought out two handy guides, the Fall 2018 anime sequels guide and the Fall 2018 new anime guide. While the former one will help you catchup with the latest season of the series and gives you details of what you can expect form this season, the later will introduce you to some of the series that you might what to check out. So yes, do check them out!

Anime and Manga News Roundup 09/10/2018 Edition

1. Conception Releases 2nd Promo Video

This week saw the release of the second promo video of the upcoming TV series ‘Conception.’ The ending theme song ‘Desires’ sung by Manami Numakura features in the 32-seconds long video.  The PV shows the beginning of a love ceremony between Itsuki Yuge and Mahiru Konatsuki.

The series will air on 10 October 2018 and the story centres around Itsuki and the maidens from the magical world of Gravania. To fight of the ‘Impurities’ who keep causing disorder and impablance to the ‘Stellar order’ there by throwing the world into a chaos. The only way Itsuki can save the world is by making the 12 Star Children with the maidens.

2. DanMachi Film – Arrow of the Orion to Release in February

The official Twitter account for the upcoming film bought out some updates this week. Most important information is that the film will be release in Japan on February 15.

Other updates were that the Voice actress Maaya Sakamoto will be appearing as Artemis, a character you will see in the upcoming film and you will also see Bell and Hestia in new outfits. Check out the designs below.

3. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection Film Releases Trailer, Announces Premiere Date 

This week has great news for Code Geass fans, the sequal film to the recap trilogy film series will release on on 9 February 2019. So yes, it might help if you can set a reminder. We also saw the release of a new trailer which introduces new characters that we are going to find in the movie. The movie will continue to tell the story of what happened after the recap movies, which were slightly different to the TV series.

4. Road to You ~Hoshifuruoka no Yakusoku~  Will Release on 3 October 2018

Road to You ~Hoshifuruoka no Yakusoku~ Short Anime

Road to You ~Hoshifuruoka no Yakusoku~ is a short anime from the animation production studio Sunrise which will be releasing via YouTube on 3 October 2018.

The series will showcase the the bonds and affection of a family and especially highlights parents love for their children. The series boasts of a powerful story telling with the amazing use of  visuals, music, and sound effects. 

5. Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshitemo Film Announces Release Date

Original work with animation production by Craftar will premiere in Japan on January 25, 2019. Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshitemo (“Even if the World Ends Tomorrow”) is about the story of childhood friends Shin and Kotori written and directed by Yuhei Sakuragi. 

Shin closes himself completely from the world since the death of his mother. Now, the are to begin their third year in High school and Kotori continues to look after him. But things get complicated when another “me” from a different Japan suddenly appears before them.

6. Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Releases Promo Video

Anemone: Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven (Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven) 1-minute trailer introduces the theme song ‘There’s No Ending’ by RUANN. The film will open in Japan on 10 November 2018 .

The sci-fi thriller centres around Anemone and her key strategy to lead the experimental unit Acid in-order to fight the humans’ enemy ‘Eureka Seven’. As humans pin their hope and trust on Anemone, a breakthrough occurs when she comes across new people.

7. Real Girl Anime’s 2nd Season Releases Teaser Visual 

The second season of the anime adaptation of Mao Nanami’s Real Girl (3D Kanojo) manga will premiere in January next year and the announcement was made along with the release of a key visual. 

The romantic comedy manga follows the story of Hikari Tsutsui, a high school boy who only loves virtual girls he encounters in anime and games. He is without any friends and he lives in his own world. His life changes when Iroha, a “real girl” who is popular with boys approaches him.

8. 2nd Fate/stay night Heaven’s Feel Anime Film Reveals 3rd Key Visual

The official website for the Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime film trilogy revealed a third key visual on Sunday for the second film in the trilogy, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly. The film will open in Japan on January 12, 2019 in 131 theaters.

9. “Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh” TV Anime Releases New Key Visual

A new key visual for Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh (Boogiepop wa Warawanai), the upcoming TV anime is a supernatural series about a series of strange events and sudden disappearances that grip the teenage population of a Japanese city. The features animation is by MADHOUSE and the series will premiere in January of 2019.
