Wanting to motivate her friend, Kai decides to serve her friendship with Hitori and promises to reconcile when she befriends all her classmates. Even with her crippling social anxiety, she takes on the task to make new friends, resulting in a humorous and awkward journey of falls, struggles, and maladroit effort to achieve her goal.

Asobi Asobase is a simple comedy slice-of-life anime series. It follows the story of three adolescent girls – Hanako, Olivia, and Kasumi who are second-year students in high school.

The three girls form a school club named “Pastimers Club”. Although the club is not officially recognized, it gives them a place to escape and spent their time having fun playing hand games. First is Olivia. A girl of American descent born and raised in Japan, often pretends that she can’t understand Japanese. The second member of the trio is Kasumi; who is good at playing games but dislikes them as she always lost to her sister as a child and had to do her chores.
