Persona 5: the Animation is a work based on the widely popular game, Persona 5. Katsura Hashino is the author of the original story. It has Akira Kurusu as the main character while Ren Amamiya will be the main character in the anime. I am not sure if this is the only change. Therefore, we have to wait and see how this is going to turn out. A-1 Pictures is the studio producing this anime.

What We Can Expect

Firstly let me start by saying that the characters are very interesting, hence I really look forward to watching it. In addition, the anime touches upon the themes of action, fantasy, and supernatural, all of which I definitely love.  Persona 5, game version was met with critical acclaim for its story and art and more. I have read game reviews that the character interaction is the best thing of them all. Therefore I have huge expectations on this anime.

The art is very good while the music seems to be up to the mark. I get a feeling that this anime is going to be almost perfect. Rather than focusing on elaborate supernatural themes, we do need the production team to focus on the plot. A great plot makes a great watch by itself.

Finally, I can conclude by saying that this anime must surely make it into your watchlist. If action genre interests you even the slightest, you should give this anime a try.

  4. hmm this is my 1st time commenting thebiem… Persona i’m really excited it for it one of my favorite real life going into a game series better than NGNL In my opinion

    • Welcome to the Thebiem ^^
Nice that you are excited about this anime series.

  5. Persona 5. The infamous game that is coming out as an anime. Can there be anything much cooler than this?
Of course not. Right now, this is the top priority list among every single persona 5 lover. I also love persona but still have to try out the game.

As per the key visual layout, I think I am worried about the plot since I read the Voice Cast above since some of the characters might be introduced later part in the story so I’ll try to forget most of the parts and just move on.

And that trailer, wow. It’s been such a long time that I seen A1-Picture’s animation. Certainly that looked more like a “Teaser” than an actual trailer ’cause of all that credits and less anime detail.

In the end, I’m terrific to know about this news even though I got notified it few days ago.

    Hyped for Persona 5!

    • I agree it is more of a teaser than a trailer.
