I had a special privilege to try out the “Nomakonelife Beauty Box – November Edition,” and now I wish to share my experiences with you. So said, it is a box with specially selected Japanese and Korean makeup products. The ones I’m about to list are quite popular, and I will tell you why. I hope to pique your interest in this Nomakonelife Beauty box and introduce you to a beautiful and glam part of the Eastern world!
1. PEACH POINT MASK
As the name says, it is a Japanese 10-piece mask that you can place on parts of your face, elbows, or any other area you wish to hydrate. It is more than generous when it comes to quantity, and I love the fruity smell of peach. Is there something peach doesn’t go with? I placed the point mask on my face, held it for 15 minutes, even though it said 10-13 minutes. The result: The skin feels soft, and the scent isn’t too invasive, but instead barely present.
Another plus is that nothing drips down your face if you place them there, and I had my share of face masks, which were so heavy with moisture that they would release excessive parts and eventually dripped down my neck.
Would I use it again? My answer is yes.

2. MELLIESH MULTI HEART COLOR CHEEK PALETTE
It comes in a sweet heart-shaped container. The beauty of this palette is that you can apply it to your eyelids, cheeks, or even your lips. Its creamy texture makes it easy to apply, and you don’t even have to use a big amount. It stays on your skin even hours and hours after application. And depending on you, if this is a plus or a negative, it doesn’t smudge or take off quickly.
You receive two colors inside the container, one matte, and one pearl, so it is up to you to choose if you want to shimmer or shine! You can choose between 4 palettes – Orange Carrot, Bronze Brown, Pink Burgundy, and Gold Terracotta. We tried out the second one – Bronze Brown. The color is not too invasive, and it is a beauty item to keep in your purse/bag.
3. KIREI FACTORY 8-COLOR EYESHADOW PALETTE
The palette comes with eight neutral eyeshadows. In addition, there are two matte eyeshadows and six shimmers. The eyeshadows come with a two-sided sponge brush.
On the first touch, the eyeshadows are pretty powdery. When doing swatches with fingers, the pigmentation was ok. It wasn’t ABH level of pigmentation, but it was decent. The transition shade (the left) was too light for my skin tone, even though I’m already pretty pale. When applied with a brush, the darkest shade in this palette was barely darker than the transition shade. I used the lightest shimmer to apply on my inner eyelid, but the eyeshadow formula is too powdery for the shimmers to pop.
When it comes to durability during the day, I wore the eyeshadow for eight hours. The eyeshadows passed the test, but keep in mind that it all depends on which eyeshadow base you are using.
The pigmentation of the eyeshadows is not so great. I wish the company worked on improving the formula, such as increasing the quality of application and pigmentation, and I wish they replaced the sponge brush that comes in the palette with the one that has bristles. However, if you don’t know how to work with eyeshadows that are more pigmented than this, and if you are a fan of subtle, neutral eye looks, I think that this palette is for you.
4. 5-PIECE MAKEUP BRUSH SET
The set comes with five brushes – a face brush, a flat eyeshadow brush, a smaller flat eyeshadow brush, a retractable lip brush, and an eyebrow comb brush. With the brush set comes a small pink case to put the brushes in.
At the first touch, the brushes are very soft. However, when it comes to applying makeup, the brushes don’t pick up much of a product. I used the face brush to apply setting powder and the blush, and it applies a small amount, and it doesn’t feel heavy on your skin. However, when it comes to eyeshadow and lip product application, the bristles partially absorb the product, making applying a fully pigmented brush stroke challenging. I don’t think there’s any testing required for the eyebrow comb brush since it’s like any other eyebrow comb.
To conclude, I am pleased with the face brush, the eyeshadow, and the lip brush a little less. A smaller eyeshadow brush is great for applying eyeshadow on tighter places such as the tear duct and a lower eyelid. A lip brush is better for applying less opaque lip products such as lip balms and lip glosses.
5. PREMIUM SERUM MASK PEARL AND BOTANICAL
This was the product I was looking forward to the most! As stated on the packaging, we tested it for 3 minutes, although you could hold it on your face for a long time because it is very moist. After removing it, the skin felt very smooth and soft. It is best to use it in the morning and before putting on your makeup. Your skin will be grateful to you for feeding it with nourishing ingredients. This mask will bring out the natural beauty of your face.
6. ITS SKIN VASELIP GLOW
This Korean beauty product is designed to accentuate your lips. I got the number 06 Berry Sunshine, and it has a creamy texture that you can easily wipe off. The plus of this product is that your lips feel hydrated, and you end up with a beautiful natural look when eventually you wish to wipe it off. It is not really for windy days (read: hair stuck to your lips), but I like the way it feels on my lips. The color is vibrant and glossy. If you want people to notice you, this is a vase lip for you!
7. PEACHC SLIM WATERPROOF FIXXY LINER
Korean product presented in a dark brown, almost black color. After testing it, I can list the positive things: it doesn’t smudge after hours of wearing it, even if you have excessive skin above your eyelids. You can roll out the content of the liner to your liking, and when you are done, you can roll it back in so there is no mess inside the container or the cap of the product. I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about this eyeliner, and the summary is – if you wish for a long-lasting product that will stay in its place, you can’t go wrong with this eyeliner.
8. SURPRISE K-BEAUTY ITEM – ETUDA HOUSE OH M’EYE LINE
A special product of this box is black eyeliner, and I’ve got nothing but praise for this particular product. The eyeliner is easy to use, and it dries relatively fast. You can apply it with a brush, and I am delighted with how beautiful it looks on the skin (winged eyeliners for the win!). I usually am bad when it comes to applying with a brush.
It was an absolute pleasure to try the various beauty products in this November edition, and we hope there is an interest bubbling inside of you to try them as well!
