Made in Abyss Sequel Announced for a release in 2018

The Made in Abyss franchise announced at it’s “Deep in Abyss Katari” Event, The series will be receiving a sequel. Alongside the announcement, the event previewed a trailer with the Sequel announcement.

Tsukushi Akihito manga Made in Abyss is currently been serialized in Web Comic Gamma since October 2012 and is currently still ongoing.

The series received an anime adaptation July 7, 2017, and ended September 2017 with a total of 12 episodes.

Series Summary

The enormous cave system, known as the Abyss, is the last unexplored place in the world.

Nobody knows how deep down goes this titanic pit.

inhabited by strange and wondrous creatures and full of mysterious ancient relics which purpose is unknown to modern man.

The cryptic depths of the Abyss drew generations of bold adventurers. In course of time, those brave enough to explore the dangerous pit came known as “Cave Raiders.”

In Oosu, the town at the edge of the Abyss, there lives a little orphan named Rico.

Who dreams of becoming as great a cave raider as her mother was and solving the great mystery of the pit.

  1. Just a look at the cover and we can say that this anime certainly has an amazing art style. As I say this, I once again feel sad that I have not watched such an amazing anime.
    I wish I can watch this someday and a make a review of it.

  2. Faking smoll cute kids get tortured T.T
    They look so innocent yet the world is cruel
    Season 2 has got to be promising
    Plus the art is consistent throughout the series
    Its a yes for sure
