Fujita’s love story manga Wotaku ni Koi ha Muzukashii (Love is Hard for Otaku) announced a new promo video. The video previews the opening theme song ‘Fiction’ by Sumika. The anime will premiere on April 12th in Japan. Also, Amazon Prime Video and others will stream the anime in Japan and overseas.
The manga’s storyline deals with the awkward romantic comedy between two office workers. Narumi is a female office worker who hides her fujoshi lifestyle, while Hirotaka is a handsome and capable company man who is secretly a game otaku.
A-1 Pictures which brought out Sword Art Online, Persona 4 the Golden Animation etc will be the studio for this anime. Yoshimasa Hiraike is directing the anime and as well as in charge of the series composition.
After discovering that they work at the same company, a gaming crazed otaku and a fujoshi reunite for the first time since middle school. After some post-work drinking sessions they begin dating, but will it be a perfect relationship between the two?

What We Can Expect
As a love comedy between otakus, this anime is sure to generate a great deal of interest among the anime fans. We can hope for the comedy to be amazing and the art style seems good too. The lead characters are well designed and the other characters are just fine. Office romance will be a fresh offering and I look forward to this anime for the very reason. Although the anime seems to be centred around fun and lighter aspects we can expect a deeper plot that would bring out the subtle difficulties of being in love. The manga has some good reviews and that is surely encouraging. If you are going to give this anime a try do let me know in the comments.
