Initial D Legend 3 movie was officially announced to air on HIDIVE streaming service. The English dubbed and subbed version will be both released on the streaming service in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. I am very excited about this movie since i have not watched it yet, I have seen the old anime and it got me hooked on. The first two movies that were released are remakes of the original TV series Initial D. The first remake movie was released in Japan in 2014, and the second movie was released in 2015. This third Movie was released in 2016.

Ultraman first key visual and details released

This movie was the final movie in the Initial D Legend trilogy.  The movies can be considered as recaps, as they follow the original story of Initial D. Although they are recaps they have covered most of the important parts in the anime. Plus these recaps were adapted by a new studio so the animation feel might be a little different if you have grown used to the original anime animation. But since it’s newer animation by a different studio they the visually are much more pleasing to watch.

About Initial D Legend 3 movie

Initial D Legend 3 will be a continuation of the 2nd movie, following the story of Takumi Fujiwara. Takumi is an average high schooler that works with his friend at the gas station. However, what no one knows is that Takumi is delivering Tofu for his father during the night. Since his father was a legendary racer, Takumi also has his blood in his veins.  Takumi started practicing drifting because that would make him finish his job faster. He is not interested in racing and only wants to finish his job faster.

Although he is very good at racing (even though he does not know it) Takumi has no interest in racing. The first movie starts when they are trying to convince him to race. and they manage to do it. After that, it’s a joy of watching different characters race against each other in extreme downhill.  In Initial D Legend 3 movie Takumi will be facing Ryosuke Takahashi.
