About Natsume’s Book of Friends (Natsume Yūjin-Chō)
The series already has six seasons of anime to its credit and now a film in the works. The original manga and the anime seasons center around the story of Natsume, a boy who can see yōkai as long as he can remember. He gets caught between humans who shun him and yōkai, who are not any fond of him either. One day he comes across a book full of contracts that his grandmother has made to trap yōkai. Consequently, Natsume now decides to release or help them even when some of the yōkai seek vengeance on him.
