New Week New Round! Welcome to the Anime and Manga News Roundup 16/09/2018 Edition. As always though let us first round up the news articles that were posted this week on the site starting with. RAW HERO a new Manga by the Author of Prison School. If you wondered what this author would be up to next. You won’t have to wait any longer his new manga will be starting soon. But will it be as good as Prison School? well, only time will tell. And Next That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime new promo video. Another Iseki to look forward to will be starting soon. One I personally like in all honesty. Anime and Manga News Roundup 16/09/2018 Edition

1. Funimation Reveals New English Dub Trailer For My Hero Academia: Two Heroes Film

Funimation official website. Started streaming the 2nd new trailer for the upcoming English Dub for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes Film.  Funimation recently announced they will be bringing the movie over to the west. Since it has already aired in Japan. The movie already aired first in a few theaters in Los Angeles, California. And is set to air in more theaters around the United States and Canada.

2. Gintama Manga Is NOT Ending

About 5 weeks ago, Shounen Jump announced the manga for Gintama will be ending in 5 chapters. But recently in the  42nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It was revealed Gintama will not be ending. It was planned to end but due to some loose ends story-wise in the manga, the author announced he will be continuing the series.

But though the series is continuing. It will actually be coming to an end in Shounen Jump. The manga will no longer be serialized in Shounen Jump and instead will be moved to Jump Giga magazine. A monthly Manginze meaning Gintama will be continuing as a Monthly series from now own words. As a fan of the series While it’s nice to know the manga is not coming to an end. I don’t exactly know if I’m happy that it will be monthly now. We’ll just have to see how things go when the series starts it’s monthly run

3. Back to the Future Manga Drawn By Yuusuke Murata Artist Of One Punch Man Canceled

One Punch Man Artist Yuusuke Murata announced back at the Ready Player One celebration event in Tokyo. That he will be doing a manga for the popular Movie series Back To The Future. And the Back to the Future Films Screenwriter  Bob Gale would have supervised the manga. But due to rights issues for several things in the series. The manga was announced to be Cancelled. The manga was meant to cover some events that were not seen in the original movies. Sadly now we might never get to see what they were talking about.

4. Pop Team Epic Anime Gets New Special Episode April 1, 2019

A Special Pop Team Epic Event announced the series will be receiving a special TV episode. Next Year April 1st. Not much else was announced about this special episode and what it will be about. More info about this special episode is sure to come at a later date.

5. Made in Abyss 2nd Compilation Movie Reveals New Visual

Made in Abyss Anime staff revealed the visual for the upcoming second compilation film for Made in Abyss titled, Made in Abyss Movie 2: Wandering Twilight. The 2nd re-cap movie is set to air January 18. After this, the 2nd season of Maybe in Abyss is set to air later in 2019.

6. Shonen Jump Launches 2 New Gag Manga

Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41, Announced 2 brand you manga starting in Shounen Jump. The manga begins Septemeber 17, 2018. Viz Media also announced they will be previewing the 2 new Shounen Jump manga for Western Audiences. This will also be posted on Viz media’s site on the 17th September 2018.

7. Is the order a rabbit? Receives New OVA and 3rd Season in 2020

A party for Is the order a rabbit?? event revealed. The popular moe anime will be receiving a new OVA in 2019 and a third season is in the works and set to air in 2020. The series first started airing in 2014. The series also received a Movie in 2017 title, Is the order a rabbit?? Dear My Sister. The is no other info on the 3rd season of the anime but more information will come in the coming weeks as the series prepares to air it’s OVA first in 2019.

8. Senran Kagura: SHINOVI MASTER Anime Website Updates with Key Visual

The harem ecchi anime will hit Japanese TV on October 12. This is the second season for the series and fans should be happy to have learnt the air date. The anime follows the story of five girls honing their skills at the prestigious Hanzo Academy. As shinobi they train themselves as spies and assassins to complete the tasks they are given. 9. Anime Irozuku Sekai no Ashita Kara Confirms Oct. 5 Premiere!

Alternative title: So many colors in the future what a wonderful world

The anime has an interesting plot where 17-year-old Hitomi lost her sense of color at a young age and grew up lacking emotion. Now her grandmother Kohaku who is a great mage and has magical powers, sends Hitomi to the past. And it is the year 2018. She finds the 17-year-old Kohaku and friends and spends time with them in the club activities. This surely is interesting and if you like these kind of anime do check it out.

10. Maō-sama, Retry! Fantasy Light Novels Get 2019 TV Anime

Let’s Become Novelists (Shōsetsuka ni Narō) website announced on Wednesday that a TV anime adaptation of Kurone Kanzaki’s Maō-sama, Retry! (Dark Lord, Retry!) light novel series is green-lit for 2019.

And yes, this is another Iseki light novel and the story centers on Akira Ōno, a regular guy who works at a company that manages an online game. He often plays the game as his character “Maō” (Dark Lord). But one day, when he logs on, he is whisked into the game’s fantasy world as his character. The series is another one of the many Japanese Light Novels that have been getting anime adaptations. Do check out the list of 8 Light Novels receiving an anime adaption in 2018.
