A lot of news other than the ones below might be of interest to you. Like, TV anime Shoumetsu Toshi (The Lost City) has brought out details of the staff and the cast along with a promo video. Also, Bakumatsu TV Anime Reveals the 2nd Promo Video, Tonari no Kyūketsuki-san manga began streaming its first promo video, TV anime Tsurune: Kazemai High School’s Archery Club has put up a PV and TV anime adaptation of Honda’s Gaikotsu Shotenin Honda-san manga will premiere in October 2018. 1. Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue.  Gets TV Anime

This 8th of August 2018 which happens to be the international Cat Day has some sweet news form the anime world. The anime adaptation of Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue (My housemate is on my lap, sometimes on my head) is greenlit for 2019.

The story centers around Subaru Mikazu, a shy writer who finds it impossible to socialize. One day, he happens to find a stray cat Haru and it ends up as his new roommate. As they begin to live together, their daily lives are shown with two viewpoints. One from that of the Cat. And the other is from the point of view of the writer. The heartwarming stories highlight the feelings of Subaru and Haru and frivolous events they help create.


2. Space Battleship Yamato 2202 Anime Film Gets New Trailer

Space Battleship 2202: Warriors of Love: Kaisei-hen (Regeneration Chapter) is the upcoming sixth film of the series. The trailer features a look at the Yamato’s new ultimate weapon. The film will premiere across Japan on November 2.

3. The Seven Deadly Sins Manga to End in ‘About a Year’

Manga author Nakaba Suzuki stated in an interview that The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) manga he is looking to conclude it in “about a year.” Which means it would have about 40 volumes of story. He also said that his next work would be based on baseball.

Upcoming anime film Gekijōban Nanatsu no Taizai: Tenkū no Torawarebito (The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky), based on the manga, will open in Japan on August 18.


4. Boys Love Anime Dakaretai Otoko No. 1 ni Odosareteimasu Releases 1st PV

Anime Dakaretai Otoko No. 1 ni Odosareteimasu (Threatened by the Most Desired Bachelor) will start its broadcast from October 2018 so mark your dates accordingly. The popular boy’s Love manga is by Hashigo Sakurabi and  Libre Publishing is serializing the manga.

5. Fist of the Blue Sky: Re:Genesis 2nd Season To Air October

The official website for Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis revealed a brand new season for the anime that is set to air next season October 2018. The manga is based on the manga of the same name written by  Hiroyuki Yatsu. The series first season aired April 2018 and ended with a total of 12 episodes.

Long before Kenshiro said, “You’re already dead,” a different Kenshiro walked the violent streets of Shanghai. The city is in constant crisis as two mafia families battle one another for supremacy. In the crossfire, a little girl named Erika is orphaned and soon taken under the wing of martial artist Liu Fei-Yan. Sorrow seems to follow the girl, as every time Fei-Yan attempts to hand her off, her new guardians end up dead. Fei-Yan decides to bring the girl to a man named Guise but instead crosses paths with powerful Kenshiro Kasumi.


6. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Manga To End In 3 Chapters

Monthly Comic Garden magazine Septemeber issue revealed the manga which is based on the anime original series Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will be ending in 3 chapters. The series anime aired back in 2016. The anime original series also recently received 2 compilation movies and a third movie that is meant to be a sequel. All these were adapted by Wit Studio.

7. Cells at Work BLACK Spinoff Manga Ends 1st Part

Kodansha’s Morning magazine announced in it’s newest issue. Cells at Work BLACK the spin-off to the currently ongoing anime Cells at Work. Unlike the main series. Cells at work black take a more grim look at the inner working of the human body as the story follows the cast of characters as they try to keep a body that drinks and eats too much, has insufficient physical activity, and has high stress basically a body in poor health active.  For those would want to see things the main series doesn’t cover properly. This spin-off might be worth a read.


8. Circlet Princess Web RPG Receives An Anime Adaption in 2019

A brand new website opened recently announcing the DMM web game Circlet Princess has been Green-Lit to receive an anime that is set to Air in 2019. The website also revealed SILVER LINK Studio will be animating the anime. The series is director will be Hideki Tachibana who previously directed Armed Girl’s Machiavellism which aired in 2017.

9. Near Death!! Ekoda-chan Receives An Anime, Annocued To Air January

Comedy manga revolving around the Night Life of a single woman. Announced it will be receiving an anime adaption. The manga by author Yukari Takinami focuses on a female character nightlife and how she drifts between relationships while also working in a Hostess club. The series will have an omnibus format adaptation. Where each episode will have a different director and different animation Style with each episode also having different voice actors.


10. TV Anime Adaptation of the Vinland Saga Manga To Get 2019 Premiere

Makoto Yukimura, the author for the manga, earlier this week announced that the anime adaption will premiere in 2019. Such wonderful news for historical anime fans. Also, Vinland Saga has a passionate following and I a sure that fans are all quite happy. The production house that bought of Attack on Titan is also bringing this anime out so let us hope that the animation quality is just as good. 11. So I’m a Spider, So What? Reveals First Promo Video

A lot of light novel series has got an anime adaptation lately and isekai LN whose anime adaptation is in progress, is  So I’m a Spider, So What? (Kumo Desu ga, Nani Ka?). Okina Baba is the author of the series which follows the story of a regular high school girl who suddenly finds herself in a fantasy world as a monster spider. The promo video does a great job of bring out the comdey the series has to offer.


12. TV Anime Grimms Notes Releases 1st Promo Video

The anime Grimms Notes is based on a fantasy RPG  by Square Enix. The story is set in a fairytale world, where everybody is living according to the role given by the creator of the world called the ‘storyteller’ and does what is written in the ‘Book of Destiny’. However, not all have books with things written in them and we follow them on their adventure.

Shimahara’s doujin project Iya na Kao Sare Nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai (I Want You To Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear) announced on Friday that a second anime “season” has been green-lit. The first season has put out four promo videos that you can check out right now.

Production I.G’s Anime Beans app adds another anime to its platform. the anime adaptation of Sui Sōda’s Kiss Made, Ato 1-Byō. (A Second Away From a Kiss.) manga is now available on the app and the first eight episodes are available for free. The anime is using the “Tate Anime” (Vertical Anime) format. The synopsis of the manga is as follows:

Kiss Made, Ato 1-Byō. centers on the relationship between Rikka Ichinohe and Izuru Nikki, two childhood friends. Izuru always orders Rikka around, and Rikka always ends up going along with it. Their class is putting on a play for the school’s cultural festival, and Rikka is hastily put into the role of a princess, and Izuru as the prince. When they perform the play, Izuru ends up kissing Rikka for real, even though they were only supposed to act it out. Source: ANN

15. Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh Release Promo Video

TV anime Boogiepop Doesn’t Laugh, an adaptation of Kouhei Kadono’s Boogiepop light novel series, announced today that it is set to premiere in Japan in January 2019. The official synopsis is as follows:

The story takes place in an unnamed Japanese city, and follows five students at Shinyo Academy as they try to piece together the puzzle of a new drug and recent disappearances among the student populace. While the teachers believe them to only be runaways, the female students whisper among themselves about the urban legend Boogiepop, who is said to be a shinigami.

One of the popular and respected anime production house is working on a new original anime series. The project tentatively bears the title Kabuki-chō no Yatsu (The Denizens of Kabuki-chō). The key visual hits at a possible storyline involving gangs and criminals. The drama seems to capitalise on the chaos of the city and its shadows. It is a wait and watch for now as we wait for more details on this anime to come out.
